The project deals with the reconstruction of toilets in the Old Town Hall. It is a two-storey space - the lower floor is used mainly for wedding guests, the upper floor for guests of Jiřík Hall and Brožík Hall. In the hallway, the space passes through both floors, so the interconnection occurs even though it has different entrances and visitors. The brief was mainly to bring the existing design of the rooms up to date and set a higher standard (the toilets are used not only by wedding guests but also by important guests of the city). The layout changes are minor, with the main changes consisting of alterations to surfaces and facilities. The concept is based on the matchbox principle - one space slides into another. The plugged-in element is the toilet space itself, completely lined with a small white mosaic (as a modern reminiscence of the Mikoláš Aleš mosaic in the main lobby). The spaces look delicate, clean and luxurious. The white mosaic is swallowed up by a dark, elevated hallway lined with matte black mosaic, which looks harsh and mysterious. The contrast of the white soft surface and the black rough surface is created - two opposites belonging to each other just as the bride and groom inherently belong to each other.
