In the current state of the lobby, it is evident that there has been an unconceptual approach to the interior design. There were many separate modifications, with no coherence or visual unity.
Therefore, we utilize the highest quality part in the interior - the steel structure, which gives an industrial character to the whole design. We propose to refine the space, while bringing in a new material palette. A fundamental change in the perception of the interior cannot occur without replacing the existing, aesthetically unsatisfactory carpet. Instead, we propose a concrete floor.
Into this refined industrial lobby space we are inserting new volumes, "rooms". Each of them has its own function and design concept - a bar with a reception desk, a podium by the golf simulators, a tribune by the curling rink and seating at the entrance to the lobby. On selected walls we apply a cherry leaf texture, giving the Třešňovka Centre its own visual identity.
In the interest of a cost-effective material palette, we rely predominantly on OSB chipboard, which we use in three basic colours - natural, cherry red and green. The bar and reception area, due to its function, will be made of higher quality black laminate boards.
